About PEER
Our software follows current ERP best practices and takes the raw EEG data and associated event markers for a task to generate conditional and difference ERP waveforms. First, the continuous EEG is preprocessed using techniques such as filtering, segmentation, baseline correction, and artifact rejection. Then, average ERP waveforms are generated, and a difference waveform is computed. Finally, the relevant ERP components for a given task are scored, and the components' amplitude and latency are displayed on screen. These results can be easily entered into statistical software such as SPSS or R to generate manuscript-ready results.
We understand the importance of accuracy in your research, which is why we have validated our analysis procedure to produce identical results to industry-standard tools such as Brain Vision Analyzer and EEGLAB. With PEER, you can trust that you are getting reliable and precise data analysis. Streamline your research workflow with PEER, the in-app ERP analysis tool that delivers accurate results with ease.
Customization
Customization is at the heart of PEER's design. With our software, you can easily tailor every aspect of the ERP tasks to your research needs. Set your own inter-trial times, stimulus onset and offset times, jitter, and more. With our Doors task, you can even determine the number of doors, reward probabilities, and the type of stimuli that appear as rewards.
PEER offers a level of customization that is unrivaled in other mobile app solutions. We understand that every researcher has unique requirements, and we want to make it easy for you to design your studies your way. And for those who are new to ERPs and game design, PEER's default settings are based on the latest "best practices" in the field. With PEER, you have complete control over your research.

Raw EEG Data Visualization and Recording
PEER provides you with real-time access to the raw EEG data stream, allowing you to visualize the electrical activity in the brain as it's happening. With the ability to zoom in on individual channels or view the entire array at once, you can easily monitor the quality of your data and make adjustments as necessary.
Using intuitive iOS gestures, you can customize the display of the raw EEG data, adjusting the time scale and voltage range to suit your needs.

Data Capture
When you're ready to start collecting data, simply hit the record button to begin the recording process. PEER will start capturing the raw EEG data from your headset, allowing you to analyze it later in your software of choice.
While recording, you can insert event markers at any time, allowing you to mark important events or segments in your data. This feature is particularly useful for comparing different scenarios within the same recording.
With PEER, you have complete control over your EEG data collection and visualization, making it easy to conduct high-quality research on the go.
Impedance Monitoring
With PEER's impedance monitoring, you can ensure the highest possible data quality. PEER automatically checks the impedance values for each channel and displays them in real time, allowing you to adjust the EEG headset as needed. You can be confident that your participants are properly prepared for data collection, since PEER will prompt you to adjust the EEG headset if the impedance values are not in the recommended range.

Customize Your Research with PEER
With PEER, you have the power to design your own custom studies to suit your unique research needs. You can customize everything from stimulus onset times and colors to inter-trial intervals and more.
And with the ability to export your studies to other iOS devices, you can easily share your paradigms with colleagues to ensure that all participants experience the games in the same way.
No need to start from scratch either – you can also import studies from colleagues who already use PEER, saving you time and effort. With PEER, your research is fully in your control.

Data Export
PEER makes it easy to export your data in a variety of formats to fit your analysis needs. Choose from the widely-used Brain Vision data format (.eeg), the European Data format (.edf), or a flexible comma-separated text file (.csv). With these export options, you can work with your EEG data offline in the software environment of your choice, such as Brain Vision Analyzer, EEGLAB, or any other program that supports these formats. This way, you have the flexibility to use the tools you're most comfortable with to analyze your data and extract insights from your research.
